Saturday night, January 17, I went to the Sommet Center with Aaron M. The Nashville Predators were hosting the Atlanta Thrashers.

I used a little yellow tint in honor of the Preds. yellow and blue colors.

Pre-game stretching.

Slick ice! We sat in the 100 level so had a pretty good view of the game.

Waiting for the players to appear right by the ice.

Before the game it was fun to get a close up view of the net... I wish we had these nets at Millersville Elementary... I actually have found 2 I plan to order at Academy Sports for $23.99 each, which is a fantastic deal for a 6' by 4' soccer/ hockey goal.

The view from our seats.

Carrie told me it was a sell-out crowd, she couldn't come because HA had their class-vs-class Volleyball Tournament. She didn't miss an inspired game by the Preds. as the Thrashers were already ahead 4-0 after 1 period and made 3 of their first 4 shot attempts.

The Thrashers goalie did a better job as Atlanta held on to win 7-2.

The scene as the Preds. were about to skate out onto the ice.

Shea Weber during warm-ups. We finally have our first snow that stuck to the ground here this morning, so I will post a blog about that later today when it gets light enough to see... it's not even 7 a.m. yet but I'm up because of Carrie's alarm and her morning walk with Nikie.
