Here is a picture of Jeff with Juan Pierre in the background on Jeff's left. Jeff got his autograph, but I missed getting it! Juan played for the World Champion Florida Marlins in 2003. The game was great fun and was pretty nice weather with a mix of sun and clouds. It took me around 40 minutes to find a place to park for a reasonable amount, and I even left 2 parking garages!
We had an usher take this picture after the game, too bad I didn't turn on the flash! The Reds won by scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the 9th inning 3 to 2. Jeff was cheering for the Reds and I was cheering for the Cubs! At least we could enjoy the game despite the fact that both the White Sox and Blue Jays have been mathematically eliminated from a shot at making the play-offs. The Blue Jays did just win 3 out of 4 from the Red Sox to move ahead of them into 2nd place in the AL East.
Here is a nice view of the left field bleachers, where we had our seats. But we sat 12 rows up from the field down the left field line after trying to get autographs and had great seats. Then we moved to the 1st row of the bleachers you can see here just above the scoreboard for the 9th inning for a different view. This was my last live Major League game to see in 2006, although I will see plenty of games during October with the play-offs and having access to cable! I had thought of going to see the Indians play the Devil Rays next Sunday on the last day of the regular season, but going to see Carrie will be a lot more fun!

Here is one of the many pictures from sunset tonight that I took just before heading over to the gym for the Fall Bash. It was an awesome sunset and I stayed out there watching over the field for about 25 minutes or more.
Here is a picture of Mr. Daniels daughter Lauren next to one of the cows in the gym! She was anxious to be in a picture.
Here is our math teacher Edwin with 3 students, Kwaku is on the right and he was one of the 2 guys I took to Cleveland last Sunday and is in my Campus Family.
Here is a picture of Heil on the left and Brendan on the right being fed an apple by Ryan! It was fun taking pictures with this sign, I even took a self portrait, but unfortunately it turned out a little blury. I have Heil in Health class and Brendan and Ryan are on the Basketball team. I have a ton more pictures, but I'll have to show them to anyone interested in person later because once again the blog has stopped posting. I will have a new post hopefully tomorrow night from my trip to Cincinnati with Jeff. That should be fun. And the countdown is getting closer now to next weekend- almost 5 days until I get to see Carrie!!!

Here is a picture inside Tower City in downtown Cleveland of Kwaku and Brian that came with me to the game. This place is a huge mall with a 3 levels and a big food court. We parked in this parking garage and this was on our way to Jacobs Field.
Here is a picture of 2 Minnesota Twins relief pitchers that I got to sign my glove. I got a 3rd guy too but he is not in this picture. The guys stayed there by the right field fence for probably over 20 minutes talking to fans and playing with little kids, they even took one little girl onto the field!
Here is the starting pitcher for the Minnesota Twins, Scott Baker, warming up before the game. I actually took this picture from our seat, which was in the first row of the outfield in right center field. We only had to pay $13 per ticket instead of $18! It was a nice seat as we were within easy shouting distance of the right fielder, Michael Cuddyer. We were hoping to catch a home run ball, but unfortunately there were none hit in the entire game.
This picture is slightly grainy because I took it at full zoom from the right field bleachers, and this is a batter on the Indians hitting the ground getting out of the way from a fastball from the Twin's Baker. For a pitcher with a 4-8 record and an ERA of over 6.00 entering the contest, he pitched a great game as the Twins won 6-1 to move within 1 game of the Detroit Tigers for 1st place in the AL Central. It was a great game and I have a ton more good pictures and a couple of good videos, but once again the blogger has stopped loading pictures. While on the topic of MLB, the New York Mets officially clinched the NL East Division about 1 hour ago as they won their first division title since 1988 and knocked off perenial power and current doormat Atlanta.

Here is a picture from Sabbath after church before we headed to Chickamauga to eat lunch and play catch. It was a great weekend. It's too bad I cut off part of my head in the picture! This week has been a shot of my present reality as this is my first chance I have had to post to this blog since I got back Monday. It has been a crazy week that I will be happy to have behind.
Here is a picture of Carrie and Grant as they were about to head into the Guys dorm at Southern for the afternoon Family Reunion.
Here is a picture of everyone after lunch: mom and dad, Hollie, Greg and Carrie. The lunch was a lot of fun even though it sure was hot. At least it was sunny the entire time I was home for break. Since I have been back it has rained 3 out of 4 days which has made it hard to teach softball outside. Luckily our pitching machine is now working again.
Here is another picture of us together on the boat. This was on Thursday when it was cloudy and cool. It was great to be back on the lake and get in some wakeboarding, which was unfortunatley the last time I will get to go this year. I still have yet to get anyone here to give me a pass to take my Sea Doo to Apple Valley Lake. Well, the blog will only let me post 4 pictures. I just attempted to post one of me standing next to the plane in Nashville before boarding. I unfortunately was kicked off the plane along with everyone else and then left finally 2 hours late and missed my connecting flight from Cincinnati to Columbus and had to stay the night in Cincinnati. As a result I missed teaching Monday and had to run around like crazy to get ready for the Varsity volleyball game. I have put in some fairly long hours this week with my shortest day between Tuesday and Thursday being 12+ hours at school. I will be on Supervision this weekend and I'm taking my Campus Family to Cleveland to see the Twins and Indians Sunday afternoon. I'll try to post more later, but it may be a couple weeks if things at school stay this busy.

On Wednesday, August 30, I took my first trip to Clevelan, OH, to see the Blue Jays play the Indians. Unfortunatley, the Jays lost 3-2 in 10 innings on a walk-off home run by Johnny Peralta, but it was an exciting game and I had a blast. Here is a picture outside of the Q (Quicken Loans Arena) where the Cleveland Cavaliers play (NBA) of LeBron James that must have been over 100 feet high.
Here is a picture of me infront of the Blue Jays dugout before the game. Jacobs Field is a really neat park and was built in 1994.
Here is a picture I took from the 200 level during the singing of the Canadian national anthem. I had numerous people welcome me to the States, I said thanks but I actually live here in OH! I also met over 10 Canadians. There were a lot of Blue Jays fans. I sat with 7 and we had a good time. No matter where I move, there will always be Canadians around!
Here is a picture of Vernon Wells of Toronto preparing to swing. Behind him is Indians catcher Victor Martinez. I took this picture from my seat. I sat in Section 142 in about the 25th row up from the field and had a great view. I have a ton of other great pictures as I filled up the whole memory card during the game, but unfortunately once again the blog has seized up. This Sunday we have school and I start at 7:30 a.m. Then Monday we have the Spring Picnic which I have planned. Today I gave out the Faculty Assignments for helping with all the stations I will be having. My next post should have lots of good pictures from our Home Run Derby, Juggling Competitions, Mile Run, Closest to the Pin Golf Shot, Soccer Juggling, Capture the Flag, Water Balloon Toss...
