Post #4 of the Camping Weekend

Here is a picture of Carrie sitting on the edge of one of the cabins down the hill. It was quite a hike down to the cabins at least if you have to do it all the time. We didn't get to see inside of one of them, but it was neat to see them. My parents said the cabins that used to be there must have been buldozed down because they couldn't find them and these looked really different.
I thought this picture was funny of Carrie as we were waiting for Jaclyn and Ryan to get to the State Park. I think she was making this face after hearing about the detour Jaclyn and Ryan took. I guess that enjoyed the scenic route!

Here is a nice scenic picture of the rocks on our hike on Saturday afternoon. It was absolutely awesome weather the entire weekend. It went by way too fast.

I thought this picture was funny of Ryan digging in the sand next to the campsite. We had fun playing on the merri-go-round and also swinging on the swings.

Here is a nice self-portrait of us by the river. The sun was nearly down so there is no sun shining.

Here is a picture from below of the 2 photographers. Ryan was off hiking underneath the water falls at this time. He should have been excited to see his N.Y. Giants take down the Falcons Sunday, a game that he talked about on-and-off all weekend. But then again, with the Giants playing a team from Atlanta, how could they expect to lose?!

Here is a picture of dad and Ryan trying to warm up next to the nice fire. Can you see all the great food in the backgound? We certainly had enough to eat with all the great cooking during the weekend. You can see the hug log burning that my dad chopped for about 20 minutes one morning!

Here is a picture of mom warming up by the fire. Do you notice a trend here? Everyone was trying to warm up. In the background is the tent I stayed. It had a nice air vent that made sure it didn't get too hot at night! There was plenty of fresh air, that's for sure. Well, I'll stop there for now. Happy Sabbath everyone.
