Christmas in NC

What a great Christmas Break this has been. I left with Carrie and Grant from Collegedale on Wednesday, December 19, for Winston-Salem, NC. We enjoyed a week there with Gregg and Cheri and it was full of shopping and fun. This is from Thursday when Grant was at the Doctor's Office and Carrie and I were playing catch.
Carrie is fishing for Solomon!
She caught him!
Jazz in her usual inside position, sleeping.
Carrie and I took Maggie and Oreo for 3 or so walks and this one was through the woods as we blazed a new trail.

Playing games was a lot of fun. Carrie and Grant are laughing at an answer during a game of Boulderdash. Another favorite game was Settler's of Catan that I bought Carrie for Christmas. Since we opened presents on Sunday, December 23, we got a few extra nights of Settler's in.Grant thinks strategy during Settler's.Cheri's car lost a window on Friday evening on our way to see the Christmas lights, so we turned back and took Gregg's car.Christmas on the 23rd. After many requests from Carrie and Grant, they finally won and moved the present opening up 2 days!Carrie working on the fuse box in the car.
Cheri opens her Get Fuzzy Day by Day calendar I got her at Carrie's recomendation.Carrie's Boston license plate holder; maybe I should have bought her a Toronto one instead!Grant looks at his new dress coat from Cheri... he thought he was getting a guitar for his Guitar Hero since it was wrapped in his old guitar box from his first one!Cheri and Carrie setting up Settler's for the first time.On Christmas Day we slept in and then had Kringle for breakfast/ lunch as we watched Elf. Then we headed for the theatre (Canadian spelling) for National Treasure's Book of Secret's, only to find it was sold out. We ended up leaving for Zephyrhills, FL, on Wednesday, the 26th, and fought traffic most of the way down I-95 for the better part of 2 hours. It was a great week with the shopping sprees and tennis on Christmas day and much more.
