Black History Month Performance

Well, I finally have another blog post. I haven't updated since Valentine's Day, partly because I forgot my camera at Carrie's last weekend. I actually took these pictures on my parents camera. On Thursday, February 28, we had our Black History Month Performance at Hardy from 6-7 p.m. There was a special music by one of our Cafeteria workers, a skit (the picture above), a performance by our Dance Team, 3 songs by our choir, and several readings. The skit was about what the world would be like if there were no black people.
The music teacher Mr. Dotzler leads the choir.
They sang 3 Christian songs! I was surprised. The man on the left of the picture is the Superintendant of Hamilton County, Dr. Scales.
What an awesome sunset! Hopefully now that I have my camera back I can catch up with posts from the last 2 weekends at Carrie's. Last weekend I went with Jaclyn, Grant and Gaby and some of the faculty and church members at Highland threw a Wedding Shower for us on Sunday morning!
