Fort Mountain State Park

On Saturday afternoon we headed out for Fort Mt. State Park. It was a beautiful day and very cold with strong winds at the lookout! We could see for miles and it was much better for pictures than when Carrie, Jaclyn and Stephanie were there about 2 years ago. I wish they could have been there too!!
Two pictures from the top.
John called me while we were at the lookout to tell me that when he walked out of church at the base of Copper Mt. he saw riders and skiiers coming down as they opened yesterday along with Keystone!! It's snowboarding time again!!
After such a long and hot summer, it has felt absolutely great to have such cool weather recently.

Here is the beach where we were 2 years ago too. We had our picnic lunch up the hill from here and then walked around the lake and had fun throwing rocks in the water and giving some ants a little excitement. The picnic lunch was great. It was pretty cold so the hot dogs tasted great as well as the smores.More pictures of the same paddle boats that Carrie tried to steal the last time we were here!It was a fun day with great weather. The next time I go there I want to have Carrie there too. We couldn't take self-portraits today!!
