My Tuesday

On Monday in the start of the Sumner County Volleyball Tournament, we hosted the #5 seed, H.B. Williams. We won the 1st game 15-11, then lost 14-16, then 1-15. We ended the regular season with a 4-3 record in the #4 seed out of 8 teams... to put that into perspective, in the last 6 seasons, Millersville had never been higher than the #7 seed! Needless to say, they were excited to have a guy on their team finally.

On Tuesday, we played Benny Bills and won 15-11 & 15-1! That meant that we would be playing for the Consolation Bracket Championship and Trophy... which would be the 1st Staff Volleyball Trophy in the history of MES!!

My principal, Mrs. Isenberg warming up for the race! Unfortunately, I don't have pictures of the race since I was in it, but I do have a video... if only I knew how to post it to this blog.
The bracket... would we be able to win on Thursday??
The full bracket.

After our 3:45 p.m. MES match in Gallatin, I came home to meet Carrie for racquetball from 5-6. Then from 7:45 until 8:50, we played a V-ball match at Highland. We won our match vs. Randy B. team 3 games to 2!!

At the end of the day, we were pretty exhausted!

I got Carson to smile when he saw I was taking his picture.
Carson loves badminto rackets! So after teaching a full day of school starting @ 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. I played 2 volleyball matches and 1 hour of racquetball. I am ashamed to say I didn't play any tennis this day, although 2 days before, on Sunday, January 9, I played 2 1/2 hours with Aaron in 33 degrees with intermittent snow flurries for most of the match!!
