We finally got the the mall where the public bus ended, so before we got on the Sky Train we shopped in the mall for quite awhile and got food. It was 4 stories high. Carrie also got her hair cut at the store pictured here.
On the top floor. Below is the Space Needle, which we took a short Metro Train over the city to after the mall. Two pictures below Carrie walks up to the ticket window.
Ready to go in!A view of downtown. We got to the Space Needle after over an hour of riding the bus and then the Sky Train.
It was very cold from the top with spitting rain off and on, although after about 1 p.m. it stopped raining for the most part until the game that night.
The underground bus station.
A view of Qwest Field, home of the NFL's Seattle Seahawks. It is inbetween the AmTrak station and Safeco Field, home of the Mariners.
You could hear the AmTrak trains on and off throughout warm-ups and the game!
At the end of our cold and rainy day, we went to see the Mariners host the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The Angels won 5-4.
We got there about 2 hours early and watched a lot of batting practice!
Happy to be at a ball game.
The view from the outfield just before we left in the 7th inning because it was late and we were tired and had to get up very early Wed. morning to take a taxi to the AmTrak station for our 7:40 a.m. train to Vancouver.
A picture of the train station where we arrived early the next morning for our train to Vancouver, BC, Canada.

That train station looked like ghost town that early morning when you arrived. Travelling by public transit is so exhausting with the ungodly hours you get to roll out of the sack - and on your honeymoon even!
