We traveled through 2 countries, 1 state, and 2 provinces on Saturday.
I spotted this bear as we flew by in the car so I quick turned around and we went back to take some pictures. This is the only one I took. You have to imagine his or her face.
A rock face that was huge we viewed for a long time on the drive.
We drove 75 miles until we reached a town, Carcross, Yukon Territory. Gas was the equivalent to just over $6 a gallon since they charge by the liter in Canada.
We drove to Emerald Lake before turning around. To the right of Carrie is a cabin where we stayed on our wedding night.
The lake is so clean and clear. It was so peaceful and quiet with absolutely no sounds from anywhere.
Carrie on her perch.
The Carcross Desert is known (at least to this town) as the smallest desert in the world. It was formed from glacial lakes that used to be there. I have never seen a desert with snow-capped mountains in the background!

Balogna Boy - you did NOT stay at that cabin by Emerald Lake on your Wedding night!!!! What a goof. But I love that picture of Carrie - it's so good.
